Bluegrass Home Services(“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our quote form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, project address or ZIP code, project type, and any details you choose to share. If you check the optional marketing box, we also record that you consented to receive marketing emails.

Information we collect automatically. To protect the quote form from automated abuse we temporarily record the IP address of each submission. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate and does not use cookies or track individual visitors across sites.

How we use it

• Reply to your quote request and schedule follow-up.
• Send transactional messages about your request (a confirmation email and any replies from our team).
• Send occasional marketing emails — only if you affirmatively opted in by checking the marketing box on the form.
• Operate and improve the website: aggregate analytics, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who processes your information

We rely on a small set of vendors to operate this site:

• Resend — delivers our email and stores the contact record for anyone who opts in to marketing.
• Upstash — stores short-lived records of submission IP addresses so we can rate-limit abusive traffic.
• Vercel — hosts the website and provides aggregate, cookieless page-view analytics.

Each vendor is contractually limited to using your information only to provide service to us.

Marketing emails and your choices

Marketing emails are strictly opt-in. The checkbox on our quote form is unchecked by default, and we only add you to the list when you check it. Every marketing email we send will include a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us at team@bluegrasshservices.com to be removed.

Transactional emails (the confirmation you get after submitting the quote form, and direct replies from our team) are tied to your request and are not subject to the marketing opt-out.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept as long as necessary to follow up and complete the work, plus a reasonable business-records retention window. Marketing contacts remain on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you. Rate-limit IP records are discarded within a short rolling window (minutes, not months).

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can always:

• Ask for a copy of the information we have about you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

If you live in a state with a specific privacy law (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah) you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain types of processing. Children

Our services are aimed at homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We use reputable vendors, TLS on every page, and short retention windows to minimize risk. No system is perfectly secure; if you ever suspect your information has been compromised, please email us so we can investigate.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Substantive changes may also be announced to the marketing list.
